About Me
Hi there! I’m Señora Mo—a lifelong educator, enthusiastic traveler, coffee lover, and proud Midwestern mom of four amazing adult kids. I spent years in the classroom as a Spanish teacher, and now I teach English to speakers of other languages, helping students connect across cultures and languages. Whether I’m in a middle school classroom or a mountain village halfway around the world, I’m always learning something new.
Now in my 50s, with a well-worn passport and a spirit that’s anything but slowing down, I’m embracing this chapter with renewed curiosity. This blog is where I share my journeys—both literal and personal—as I explore the world, rediscover myself, and lean into the joy of being a lifelong learner.
Here you’ll find travel stories, practical tips for midlife adventurers, reflections on teaching and parenting adult children, and glimpses of the things that keep me grounded: yoga, healthy living, a great book, and a strong cup of coffee (or two!).
Whether you’re an educator, an empty-nester, or simply a curious soul looking for your next adventure—I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s prove that midlife is the perfect time to explore more, learn more, and live with purpose.
